Brianna Harnack is a graduate student in Georgetown University’s Foreign Policy program, concentrating in Geoeconomics, Business, and Finance. Her work spans international law, global governance, and cross-cultural political analysis. She graduated cum laude from Bucknell University with a B.A. in Political Science and Italian, earning multiple academic distinctions and completing advanced legal studies at the University of Bologna in international and Italian law.
Brianna brings a strong record of high-impact legal and global policy experience. At McNicholas & McNicholas LLP, she contributed to civil rights and institutional accountability litigation, managing high-value investigations and juvenile justice cases that deepened her expertise in human rights, the rule of law, and state, society dynamics. Her additional work with the United Nations, Vogue Brazil, and The CRMSuite broadened her exposure to international law, global markets, and strategic research, informing her understanding of how information flows, public engagement, and governance structures shape policy outcomes across regions.
Brianna conducted research projects on sustainable mineral extraction, public health policy and harm reduction, and state capacity and cartel legitimacy in Latin America, reflecting a commitment to analyzing complex political systems and transnational challenges.
Fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, and English, Brianna brings a multilingual, globally informed perspective to the study of foreign policy, with particular interests in international institutions, democratic resilience, and human-rights-centered governance.
