Bokyung Mun

Associate Teaching Professor

Bokyung Mun received her Ph.D. in Linguistics from Georgetown University, and joined the Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures as an Assistant Teaching Professor in Korean. Her main research interests lie in the areas of syntax, semantics and pragmatics, with particular focus on Korean modals. Prior to beginning the Ph.D. program at Georgetown, Bokyung received her M.A. in English Linguistics and her B.A. in British and American Language and Literature as well as in Chinese Culture from Sogang University, Korea.
