Austin Nicholson
M.S. in Foreign Service Student
Austin Nicholson is a candidate for the Master of Science in Foreign Service, concentrating in Global Politics and Security. He served six years on active duty in the U.S. Army, including three years based in Europe, where he advised NATO partners and worked with foreign military forces engaged in active conflict. He contributed to multinational security efforts across the region in both garrison and operational environments. Austin now serves in the U.S. Army National Guard, where he trains soldiers preparing for similar mission sets abroad.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from North Carolina State University and studied at the Prague University of Economics and Business.
At MSFS, Austin focuses on the intersection of diplomacy, energy, trade, and international security.
