Andrew Fellows

Andrew Fellows is a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer originally from Pennsylvania. Serving from 2023 to 2025, he worked in the Community Organizational Development (COD) sector in Kosovo. His COD work saw him developing and winning project grants to address the community-defined priorities of environmental stewardship, employability skills, and inter-ethnic cooperation among Albanian and Serbian youth. In partnership with the regional offices of the National Endowment for Democracy and the United Nations Development Programme, he expanded the capacity of his site’s local NGO to help ethnically divided communities. Through the GHD program, Andrew seeks to deepen the potential of civil society and youth development work which he began in Kosovo.

Andrew is a 2023 graduate of Tufts University, earning his B.A. in International Relations and Middle Eastern Studies. He studied the French and Arabic languages. His undergraduate research projects included public opinion polling on U.S. foreign policy, the challenges faced by Islamic schools in the United States and France, and Turkish foreign policy. In his free time, Andrew worked as the Programming Director for his college’s radio station. He enjoys playing and discovering new music from all over the world. Andrew is an active member of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers), whose principles of peace and justice guide his political advocacy work at home and his service abroad. He has campaigned with the American Friends Service Committee in Philadelphia and the Friends Committee on National Legislation on Capitol Hill to promote peace, diplomacy, and socioeconomic justice.
