Alexander Ovodenko

Alexander Ovodenko is an Energy Industry Analyst at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University, in addition to serving as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Georgetown University. Dr. Ovodenko's book, Regulating the Polluters: Markets and Strategies for Protecting the Global Environment (Oxford University Press), explains the role of industry structure in environmental regime design. His research has been published in Energy Research and Social Science, Global Environmental Politics, Journal of Conflict Resolution, Review of Policy Research, International Affairs, Journal of Strategic Studies, and Security Studies. He has taught on energy policy, environmental policy, international relations, and social science methods at George Washington University, Washington University in St. Louis, and Princeton University.
