Alexander Charles

Alexander Charles is a second-year master’s student in the Security Studies Program, where he concentrates on International Security. His academic interests center on geoeconomics and the transatlantic alliance.
Alex earned a B.S. in Foreign Service (BSFS) in 2021, majoring in International Politics with a minor in French, at Georgetown University. Professionally, he has worked for Deloitte in its Government and Public Services practice and, more recently, for Janes as an International Security Consultant. Alex is a military veteran with assignments across Europe, the Middle East, and South America. Alex has extensive experience with VA education benefits from working at the Georgetown Military Benefits Office and is happy to help prospective and incoming students understand how to make the most of their VA benefits.
