Abbie Treff
M.S. in Foreign Service Student
Abbie Treff currently studies at the Georgetown University Walsh School of Foreign Service and will earn a Master of Science in Foreign Service in 2027. She declared a concentration in Global Politics and Security this past Fall. She graduated Tufts University with a BA in International Relations and minors in French and Sociology. Along the way she trained in policy analysis, event coordination, and nonprofit management, through internships at Geneva Centre for Security Policy and the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition.
After college, Abbie joined Family Promise as their Education Associate where she developed the Leadership Academy programs that launched in early 2023. In her most recent role as World Vision's Advocacy Senior Project Coordinator from 2023 to 2025, Abbie furthered WVUS' mission of reaching the most vulnerable with life, hope, and a future. Leveraging her background in foreign affairs, Abbie covered humanitarian advocacy on the crises in Sudan, DRC, Myanmar and Bangladesh.
Abbie is a Midwesterner at heart but enjoys calling Washington D.C. home for this chapter of her life.
