SFS plans to establish SFS Asia-Pacific Initiative in Jakarta, Indonesia, a new branch of SFS operations in January 2025. The core mission of the branch is to address the challenges of the Global South through credit-bearing experiential courses for SFS Master’s students. The focus of this branch will be multilateral. In addition to graduate-level and executive training initiatives, SFS Asia-Pacific Initiative also underpins an incoming visiting student program for Indonesian undergraduates to Georgetown University in collaboration with the Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA). 

Georgetown University’s partnership with the Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA) aims to support Indonesian students who have been awarded an IISMA Scholarship. Participants in this program have the opportunity to spend one semester at Georgetown University, where they can engage in rigorous academic study, immerse themselves in the vibrant Washington, DC culture, and undertake practical assignments tailored to enhance their skill sets. This program provides students with invaluable international exposure and academic enrichment, significantly contributing to their personal growth and professional development.
