Film Screening: “Nowhere to Hide”

November 8, 2017 @ 5:00 pm - 7:30 pm EST

The CCAS invites you to join us for a screening of the newly released documentary “Nowhere to Hide,” which gives viewers a firsthand view of the lasting impacts of the 2011 American retreat and the beginnings of the Islamic State in Iraq.

“Nowhere to Hide” follows videographer Nori Sharif, an Iraqi husband, father, and nurse, over the course of five years as he documents daily life in Iraq. Nori’s careful documentation gives viewers a powerful and chilling insight into the region’s reality.
