Kristie joins SFS from American University, where she served as the School of International Service's Assistant Dean of Development and Alumni Relations for three years. In this role, Kristie was responsible for developing the major and principal gift pipeline for SIS, and for the conceptualization, planning, and implementation of all other alumni relations and fundraising activities for the school. Under her leadership, SIS tripled its annual fundraising revenues and implemented a leadership annual giving society. As Assistant Dean, Kristie also managed multiple deployments throughout Asia and Europe and helped to design and implement the university-wide international advancement strategy. In addition to her day-to-day development responsibilities, Kristie served as a member of the SIS senior leadership team and oversaw the SIS Board of Advisors.
Prior to joining American University, Kristie worked in various development roles at the Wharton School for the University of Pennsylvania. In her final role at Wharton, Kristie served as Senior Major Gift Officer and the Director of Lauder External Affairs – overseeing the Lauder Institute’s inaugural $30M comprehensive campaign.
