2021 Paul F. Pelosi Scholar
Irmak Sensozis a sophomore in the Walsh School of Foreign Service majoring in International Politics with minors in Turkish and Persian. Her academic interests include foreign policy, democratization, and Middle Eastern history. She is currently a Political Affairs Intern at the US Department of State and has previously interned at both the United States Senate and House of Representatives. On campus, Irmak is an undergraduate research scholar at the Center for Contemporary Arab Studies and an editor at the GeorgetownJournal of International Affairs. Originally from Northern New Jersey, Irmak is delighted to be a Paul F. Pelosi Scholar this year.
