Claudia Wagner is a graduate student at the Center for Eurasian, Russian, and East European Studies program at the School of Foreign Service, focusing on Russia and the Caucasus. This summer, she was a trainee at the Council of Europe office in Tbilisi, Georgia, working on human rights and electoral assistance programs. Claudia is originally from London in the United Kingdom. For her undergraduate degree at the University College London, she majored in Russian and politics. She spent a year studying in Russia in Moscow and St Petersburg during the electoral cycle of 2011-12, and subsequently wrote her thesis on the portrayal of these elections in Russian online and social media.
