Screening of “Gaza in Context” with Noura Erakat

We invite you to join us for a screening of the short film “Gaza in Context.” Director Noura Erakat, a human rights attorney and activist, will lead a discussion following the showing.

Ms. Erakat is an assistant professor at George Mason University, and the editor of Jadaliyya, an electronic magazine on the Middle East. Her film “Gaza in Context” is an effort to improve understanding of the history of Gaza as it relates to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. It has received widespread praise from many scholars and analysts for its insightful and careful analysis of the region.

Directions:

The CCAS Boardroom is located in the Intercultural Center on Georgetown’s main campus. The ICC is a large, red-brick building located at the far righthand corner of the front lawn if you are walking through Georgetown’s front gates at 3700 O St.

To get to the Boardroom, head to the Center for Contemporary Arab Studies, which is Suite 241 on the second floor of the ICC (hardwood double doors at the end of the far hallway).
