Mr. Scoggins is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Millennial Energy Partners and the firm’s various managed funds, operating subsidiaries and investment vehicles. Under his guidance, the firm has secured private equity capital in excess of $300 million and directly invested in oil and gas assets through eight discreet investment vehicles. Prior to Millennial, Drew led BG Group plc’s commercial and technical teams on oil and gas investments, which included upstream and midstream acquisitions and joint ventures in the Haynesville shale, Marcellus shale and British Columbia. Furthermore, Drew led deal teams on liquefied natural gas (LNG) projects in Chile, British Columbia and Equatorial Guinea. Drew also served in operational roles with BG Trinidad and Tobago. Prior to joining BG, Drew was Strategic Planning Manager and Community and Public Relations Manager with Marathon Oil in Equatorial Guinea, West Africa. Drew began his career with Bechtel Corporation as Project Controls Engineer, also in Equatorial Guinea. He received his bachelor of science degree in Economics and History from Vanderbilt University, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude. He holds a Master of Science in Foreign Service (MSFS) degree from Georgetown University.[This event is closed to SFS students only]
