Join the Center for Latin American Studies (CLAS) and the Latin America Leadership Program (LALP) in welcoming Ambassador Daniel Gutierez from Belize.

Belize has a unique relationship to both Latin America and the United States. Bordered to the north by Mexico, to the south and west by Guatemala and to the east by the Caribbean Sea., Belize is a diverse country with various cultures and languages. It is also a country with a diverse set of opportunities and challenges in the fields of education, trade and foreign relations.
