Nick Na is a senior in the School of Foreign Service, majoring in International Political Economy with a certificate in International Development. Nick found his passion for international development in Clarkston, Georgia, through a high school refugee tutoring ministry in which he worked with children from Afghanistan, Somalia, Eritrea, Bhutan, and Nepal. At Georgetown, he has continued his interests in the DC Schools Project which partners with DC’s immigrant community in English-language learning access.
Personally, as a Christian, Nick holds great value in his faith and is part of a vibrant campus ministry called Campus Outreach. In his free time, he likes sleeping and adventuring.
Nick Na (SFS'18) spent part of his summer @sussexuni in Brighton, UK, with the International Junior Research Associate scheme. He was conducting research under Professor Michael Collyer on urban migration and overcrowding issues in four cities in the Global South. He also got to see a bit of London, including this view from the London Eye! #SummerSFS
