Joelle is a second-year MSFS student concentrating in global politics and security, covering disarmament issues. She was in Geneva, Switzerland for a graduate placement at the United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research from May 22 to August 18. Joelle conducted research in the field of conventional weapons disarmament and assisted the institute in project management tasks. She joined MSFS after having built experience at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Presidency of the Council of Ministers of Lebanon, and the United Nations system. Her work placements include Beirut, Paris, Geneva, New York and The Hague. Joelle graduated from the Lebanese American University with a BA in Political Science and International Affairs and a Minor in Legal Studies. She also completed an exchange program at Sciences Po Paris.
