Fatima is a second-year MSFS student concentrating in global politics and security, with a special interest in South Asia and conflict resolution. She was in Amman, Jordan working for Mercy Corps Regional Office as a Research Intern from May 20 to August 18. Fatima worked with the Investing in Syrian Humanitarian Action (ISHA) Project, where she created capacity building tools and curriculum, wrote grant proposals, and coached partners on program design. Prior to MSFS, Fatima was a Clinton Fellow in Darjeeling, India, where she worked for Broadleaf Health and Education Alliance (BHEA) as an Education Consultant. Fatima taught in San Jose, California for 3 years as a Lead Teacher and Teach For America corps member. She graduated from the University of California, Davis with a Bachelor's of Arts in Political Science and History and a Minor in Middle East/South Asia Studies.
