Come for an informal discussion with Ambassador Hoza about what its like to work as a foreign service officer, and hear first hand more information about the realities, the benefits, and the drawbacks of the career path. This is a great chance for anyone considering a career in the foreign service, who wants to know what its really like. Ambassador Hoza is a BSFS in 1979 graduate, and recently retired from the U.S. Foreign Service in 2017. He spent thirty-two years in the Foreign Service, with eleven overseas assignments on four different continents, culminating in an ambassadorship to Cameroon, after having been nominated by President Barack Obama on July 31, 2013.
