Aislinn McNiece

Aislinn McNiece is a junior in the School of Foreign Service, with a major in international political economy. She spent the summer in Barcelona, Spain where she studied the national identity of Barcelona and the Catalonian region by taking classes in political and art history while undergoing intensive language study, and cultural exploration of the city. Aislinn's goal for her summer was to understand the current Catalonian separatist movement in the context of the Spanish political economy. She also got to know the food and architecture of the region, perfect the art of the siesta and fiesta, and practice her Spanish lisp during her summer in Barcelona.
