Adam Shlomi interned for Aliza Lavie, an MK in the Israeli Knesset. Starting on May 17th, Adam flew to Israel and participated in a Birthright trip, after Birthright he visited neighboring Egypt and Jordan before starting his internship on June 4. After taking intensive Hebrew for both the fall and spring semesters of his freshman year, Adam used his language skills in the Israeli Knesset as he worked under Aliza Lavie. Lavie is a member of the centrist Yesh Atid party and sits on the committees for Women and Gender Equality and National Security and Foreign Affairs . In addition to interning, Adam explored Israel, improved his Hebrew, and spent time with family.
