Kavya Rajan
Kavya Rajan, a recent SFS graduate working for the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), recently made a generous donation to the Georgetown Journal of International Affairs, where she served as one of the founding editors during her undergraduate days. Though Kavya may not fit the profile of many universities' traditional donor, young international professionals like her are giving back to SFS in greater numbers than ever before.

Kavya is currently living in Sarajevo and focusing on post-war reconstruction issues, including democracy-building and human rights. Her day-to-day work involves liaising with journalists, NGOs and other international community partners such as the UN and NATO.
"The year-and a-half I've spent in Sarajevo has been demanding and exciting, and certainly informed by my SFS education," she says. "I have followed the development of the Journal closely, and I never cease to be impressed with the caliber of each incoming class of student staff and the quality of articles they edit and produce."
